Families and Children Together, Inc. (FACT, Inc.) and Crawford County Mental Health Center (CCMHC) are partnering on the “Essentials for Stability” project to provide immediate basic-needs assistance to clients experiencing financial hardship, housing instability or other crisis situations.

The project is designed to remove barriers that can make it difficult for individuals and families to access healthcare, maintain employment, secure housing and work toward long-term stability.

Funding may support needs such as rent and utility assistance, vital identification and personal documents, essential repairs, hygiene and cleaning supplies, clothing, transportation-related expenses and other urgent needs identified through case management services.

“Essentials for Stability” emphasizes dignity, responsiveness and practical support. By addressing immediate challenges, the project can help individuals and families establish a stronger foundation for future success.

The project was made possible through a generous Knights of Columbus grant awarded through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas. FACT, Inc. and CCMHC are grateful for this investment in the well-being and stability of individuals and families throughout the region.

The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas manages charitable funds established by donors who are passionate about giving back. Its grants provide critical resources to organizations serving Southeast Kansas and beyond.
