On September 4, Crawford County Mental Health Center (CCMHC) and Families and Children Together, Inc. (FACT, Inc.) were honored to receive a grant from the Pritchett Trust during the annual reception at BMO Bank in Pittsburg.
Since its founding in 1995, the Pritchett Trust has awarded more than $12 million to projects that enhance the quality of life in Crawford County and Southeast Kansas. This year, the trust distributed more than $508,000 across 50 community initiatives.
Representing CCMHC at the reception, Bill Howell, Director of Children’s Services, and Emily Gronau, Discovery Program Coordinator, accepted a $27,000 award that will fund the replacement of the HVAC unit at the Michael E. Ehling Early Childhood Discovery Center, CCMHC’s therapeutic preschool. This investment will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for young children receiving early intervention and therapeutic services.
We are deeply grateful to the Pritchett Trust for their continued support of our mission and their commitment to strengthening resources for families across our community.
