Crawford County Mental Health Center (CCMHC) is proud to announce the expansion of Children’s Services at our Broadway location, now offering comprehensive care all under one roof at 710 North Broadway in Pittsburg.

Beginning May 5, 2025, families can access the same trusted, high-quality care — now with greater convenience and improved access for children and adolescents. This expanded service model includes pediatric psychiatric care, medication management, therapy, case management, waiver services, and now, Same Day Access.

As part of this expansion, Stacey Bacon, APRN, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, a valued provider at CCMHC, will transition from adult care to focus on pediatric psychiatric services.

In addition to outpatient therapy, community-based support, and programs like Challenger and Discovery, Stacey Bacon will allow CCMHC to provide:

  • Children’s psychiatric evaluations
  • Children’s medication management for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
  • GeneSight® psychotropic testing to support personalized medication planning
  • Full collaboration with therapists, case managers, schools, pediatricians, and family healthcare providers for integrated care

Children’s Same Day Access

To further enhance accessibility, Children’s Same Day Access will now be available on-site at the Broadway location, offering walk-in assessments and referrals for new clients on the following days:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Outside of these hours, families may continue to access Same Day Access services at our main location at 3103 North Michigan Street, available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

For current CCMHC clients, therapists and case managers will coordinate internal referrals to psychiatric services as needed or requested. For new families, the Same Day Access process ensures prompt connection to needed care — with the goal of scheduling the first appointment within a week of intake.

With expanded services now housed in one convenient location, CCMHC is proud to offer families the care they trust — now more accessible, coordinated, and child-focused than ever. External providers, community partners, and referral partners are encouraged to reach out with any questions to 620-231-5130.
