Michelle Coulter Morrell, LSCSW
Director of Adult Services
“I knew I wanted to be a social worker in 1992, but life got in the way, and I delayed my master’s program until 2011, when both of my children were in high school. In my lifetime, I have encountered suicide, addiction, mental health challenges, grief and loss, and physical illness. I experienced social workers in each of those areas and knew that was the path I wanted to pursue to better serve and help people. I love that, in my role, I can help mentor other new social workers through the educational or clinical process. Social work is such a diverse field and can have an impact on so many lives in different ways.”
