“I wanted to work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in an outpatient setting. After I graduated in 2003, I saw a job opening in outpatient Crawford County Mental Health Center in Pittsburg. I was familiar with Pittsburg, so I interviewed. After I interviewed at Crawford County Mental Health Center, I felt that I would have a lot of support and experienced colleagues at this agency, which was very important to me. I have always felt that I was given support by this agency, my colleagues, and superiors, and that it has been a good working environment.”
