Eric Thomason, PMHNP, MBA

Eric Thomason serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Crawford County Mental Health Center, where he also provides psychiatric and medication-assisted treatment services. His clinical work includes rounding at a 32-bed addiction treatment center as well as delivering outpatient psychiatric care and medication-assisted treatment. In addition to his clinical duties, he offers both administrative and clinical oversight for an ongoing project to establish a 16-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit in Crawford County, Kansas.

Prior to joining Crawford County Mental Health Center, Mr. Thomason served in a leadership role at a Federally Qualified Health Center, where he provided fiscal, operational, and clinical oversight for behavioral health and addiction treatment programming. His diverse clinical background includes inpatient psychiatry, medication-assisted treatment, assertive community treatment for both adult and youth populations, and general outpatient psychiatric care.

Eric’s professional passion lies in the treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders. His combined clinical and administrative expertise has led to opportunities to offer professional testimony to state and federal policymakers, advocating for expanded access to behavioral health services across Kansas.
