Full-Time

The position will be responsible for the assessment of behavioral health disorders, development of treatment plans and interventions, delivery of counseling and psychotherapy opportunities to consumers and consultation with other community agencies. This position will work as part of a team that provides individual and group counseling for individuals recovering from SUD &/or dually diagnosed mental health issues. Prior mental health and/or SUD training or licensing is preferred, but not mandatory

Crisis Mental Health Assistant

Full-Time

This position will access or create community resources for individuals in psychiatric crisis, regardless of the hour. It is meant to help community members find and utilize caregivers, natural resources, created resources, caregiving facilities, etc. to improve their quality of life and, especially, to help guide them towards the least restrictive psychiatric placement.

    How do I apply for a practicum or internship?
    • Download and complete the practicum/internship referral sheet and email the completed form to Amy Glines at [email protected] or call 620-231-5130 to further discuss placements.
    • Approval process will include determination of availability to meet your goals with the Deputy Director, interview with the Division Director and field instructor, and lastly background checks and drug screening through Human Resources.
            • This process can take up to six weeks to complete. Early applications are highly encouraged.
