Medication Assisted Treatment Nurse Coordinator

Full-Time

This position is a registered nurse (RN) who coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the Addictions Treatment Team including assisting the medical providers in managing the medication component of the treatment. The nurse serves as the bridge between the physical aspects of recovery and the social/emotional/psychological aspects and serves as a resource to nursing staff at all sites.

Patient Navigator

Full-Time

This position will be responsible for efficiently and accurately coordinating the care between clients and other service providers within the CCMHC, as well as in the community to assist in improving the functioning and quality of life which are due to social determinants of health, physical health condition and mental illness.

Substance Use Counselor

The position will be responsible for the assessment of behavioral health disorders, development of treatment plans and interventions, delivery of counseling and psychotherapy opportunities to consumers and consultation with other community agencies. The applicant must be a Licensed Mental Professional or a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Kansas.

Mental Health Counselor

Full-Time

The position will be responsible for the assessment of behavioral health disorders, development of treatment plans and interventions, delivery of counseling and psychotherapy opportunities to consumers and consultation with other community agencies. This position will work as part of a team that provides individual and group counseling for individuals recovering from SUD &/or dually diagnosed mental health issues. Prior mental health and/or SUD training or licensing is preferred, but not mandatory

Discovery Mental Health Assistant

Part-Time

Now accepting applications for part-time Mental Health Assistant for children ages 3 to 5. Working Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM, in the Discovery program. Candidate must be mature, patient, have experience working with children, and be able to work with children exhibiting challenging behaviors.

Crisis Mental Health Assistant

Full-Time

This position will access or create community resources for individuals in psychiatric crisis, regardless of the hour. It is meant to help community members find and utilize caregivers, natural resources, created resources, caregiving facilities, etc. to improve their quality of life and, especially, to help guide them towards the least restrictive psychiatric placement.

    How do I apply for a practicum or internship?
    • Download and complete the practicum/internship referral sheet and email the completed form to Amy Glines at [email protected] or call 620-231-5130 to further discuss placements.
    • Approval process will include determination of availability to meet your goals with the Deputy Director, interview with the Division Director and field instructor, and lastly background checks and drug screening through Human Resources.
            • This process can take up to six weeks to complete. Early applications are highly encouraged.
